Established in 1989 in the vibrant Nyameni area, where it was hosted by Nyameni primary school and Marondera high school being the Parent and caretaking school under Mr Mufambisi. Today, we are proud that we have grown and the school stands at the forefront of educational excellence, with pass rates soaring to over 90% for A Levels and 50% for O Levels.
At Cherutombo High School, we pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art facilities that serve as a catalyst for learning. Our modern science and technology laboratories inspire curiosity and experimentation, while our dedicated spaces for the arts and athletics, which promote creativity and physical health. Our pipils will be assisted to acquire the necessary attitude, skills and knowledge that will mould them into becoming good citizens
We will endeavour to give maximum possible assistance to our pupils to enable them to their examinations
Our pupils should leave school aware of the responsibilities which each adult has to the community in general
We will foster in an enlightened but determined and firm manner, endurance of activity , dedication to goals, enthusiasm for work and a corporate spirit
The school shall seek to provide its staff with security, good management, and administrative suitable facilities and resources for effective teaching and motivation
