Year-End Reflections
05 December 2024
PREAMBLE
Festive greetings to you all dear parents and guardians. We have come to the conclusion of our 2024 academic year, a year that was difficult for both parents and teachers due to economic challenges currently bedeviling our country.
END OF YEAR EXAMS
Our pupils wrote end of year exams and did fairly well. However these exams were marred by lack of funding with more than 40% of parents not paying their children’s fees. This parents not paying their children’s fees. This made it almost impossible to run the exams.REPORTS
Every learner shall be given a report booklet which you the parent must sign to acknowledge that you have seen the report. It is issued without alterations. The child must return it to school on the opening day.DISCIPLINE
A number of disciplinary problems were recorded during the year. These ranged from bullying, playing truancy, fighting, drug taking to love affairs. Those who deserved to be excluded were excluded. Due processes were carried out to exclude them. I have a zero percent tolerance for indiscipline and all students found guilty of wantonly breaking school rules and regulations shall be dealt with accordingly.NONE PAYMENT OF FEES
A big thank you to parents who pay fees for their children on time but am very disappointed by those who spend the whole year without paying a single cent to the school.’’ Murikuuraya chikoro chenyu vabereki.’’Lets have a conscience. In 2025 only students with gate passes will be allowed into school without parents.’’ NO GATE PASS NO ENTRY OR PARENT ACCOMPANIES CHILD TO SCHOOL’’ NB// TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY.If in arrears, clear them over the holiday to avoid unnecessary inconveniences. After clearing get your gate pass.
